Did you know?
On a C5 corvette, you can get all diagnostic trouble codes without the need for a scanner. With the key in the on position (engine off) hold down the options button and press fuel 4 times. The codes will begin showing on the DIC screen.

Infopic: Valve spring swap
This photo illustrates how to change a valve spring with an LS1 head still installed on the engine. An air hose is run to the spark plug hole to keep the cylinder full of air, which in turn holds up the valves so they don't fall when you try to compress the spring. The spring shown is probably the hardest spring to change on an F-body.
